When will I receive an invoice?
An invoice summarizing all payments made for a quarter will be sent at the end of the respective quarter.
For example, if you have made one or more payments for cooking or gardening sessions during the first quarter, you will receive your invoice in December 2024.
Do you offer sliding scale rates for low-income families?
I am not yet able to accommodate this request for the first year, as I have significant expenses to cover. I hope to offer a sliding scale starting from the 2025 school year.
How is the cost of the workshops calculated?
The cost of the workshops covers the materials and resources that go home with the children or remain at the school, as well as a base salary for preparation and activity time.

Is it possible to know the details of each session's activities in advance?
The schedule of activities is constantly evolving due to ingredient availability, weather conditions, etc., so I am unable to share it in advance.

I am unable to make an e-transfer. How can I pay?
Online payments will be available starting in 2025 for future activities. For the first term, if you are unable to make an Interac e-transfer, please contact me.
Between school, extracurricular activities, and the family schedule... how can I remember to send a container on cooking days?
When you register your child, you will automatically receive a confirmation email with a small calendar of the activities booked, which you can print and place on your fridge, for example.
You also have the option to receive an email reminder at 5 a.m. on the day of the activity, reminding you to pack a container in your child's bag. If you did not select this option but would like to change your mind, just send me an email!
My child has allergies. Can I enroll them in cooking classes?
If your child has a nut or seafood allergy, you can enroll them by specifying the allergy in the form.
If your child has other allergies, please contact me before completing the registration (response within 24 hours).
My child is vegan / follows a special diet. Can I enroll them in cooking classes?
All dishes planned for the current school year are vegetarian.
I am not yet able to accommodate special diets, but I am working hard to develop satisfying alternative recipes for future sessions.
The age group for my child is full / my child wants to participate in activities with a different age group. Is that possible?
Groups are organized according to grade level (Grade 1, Grade 2, etc.). If you wish to enroll your child in a group that does not match their grade level, please contact me, and a decision will be made on a case-by-case basis.
I do not wish for my child's photo to appear online or on social media.
I will never publish photos featuring a child's face (with or without permission) on this website or any social media.
Whenever possible, I use photos of children from behind or only showing their hands. If a child's face is visible, a heavy blur filter is applied.
If you do not want your child's back or hands to appear online, please let me know.
My child needs to miss a session that I have paid for. Can I request a refund?
Once booked, spots cannot be refunded. If your child needs to miss a session, you have two options:
You can arrange in advance with another parent (and possibly ask them to cover the fees by paying you directly) and inform me of the replacement child's name via email no later than 24 hours before the session.
I will randomly select a child enrolled in the daycare service on the same day.
Will there be activities offered during pro-d days?
Nothing is planned at the moment, and it entirely depends on the needs of the daycare services!

Currently, I have some availability to offer my activities in schools and daycare services outside the AQE annex.

I am also looking to recruit additional educators to be able to offer these activities in more establishments.
